Learning Photoshop:
I'm not entirely sure how I got to where I am now with photoshop. I searched a lot of tutorials, which made me familiar with the functions and tools of the program. There's a lot of experimenting done with it as well. You need to have patience and a good eye for things.
Background of Ill Authority designs:
It all started in the 4th grade, back in 2002 where I began web design with a little site dedicated to anime. I loved the ability to control the outlook and layout of everything on the page. I had submitted something to another site which had around 1000 viewers a day, and they linked to my own page giving me
so much traffic and exposure. There really wasn't much of anything on my first website, but somehow my tracker went up to 3,000. Around that same time, I began experimenting with photoshop. I admit that I wasn't too good at it in the beginning, but you have to start somewhere.
As the years passed, I forgot about the whole web designing thing. Middle school came around and in the 7th grade, I once again opened photoshop. I began a line of designs called "pnaixstyle" as you may see from some of my works. I even played around with photoshop during school periods, and to my surprise, one of the teachers
was impressed with my creations. He enlightened me of the many possibilities that could come from my graphic design, saying that I could make thousands of dollars at this age and becoming a freelance artist. To a 14 year old, thousands of dollars are like billions. So I started a new site to showcase all of my work, including new layouts, but the main server shut down. I didn't lose my graphic design artwork,
but ended up losing some functional layouts. After that I felt a little discouraged at having to build another website and find a new free server.
When high school approached I became busier with schoolwork, never having time to spend hours and hours sitting and making things in photoshop. Nor did i have the capacity to think of anything. But now, as a junior, I realized that maybe graphic design is something that I should pursue as a career.
From growing up and wanting to take control of my own future, I created "ill authority".
